Our Mission

Our mission at Children’s Christmas Wish List is to bring joy and hope to children in need. We focus on fulfilling the wishes of children undergoing hospital treatment, creating memorable experiences for families facing challenges. By spreading kindness and support, we aim to make a lasting impact on children’s lives. Our team works diligently to ensure every wish granted brings happiness during difficult times.

As we continue to serve these families, we recognise that the need for support extends beyond wish fulfillment. We are committed to creating lasting memories that children and families will treasure forever. With the support of local communities and partners, we can offer even more to those in need.

Our Journey: Children’s Christmas Wish List Highlights

  • 2009: We kicked off with our first St. Patrick’s Day Golf Tournament at Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club, raising nearly £4,000. Later that year, a second golf day in October added another £3,500 to our 2009 Wish List!
  • 2010: In the face of tough economic times, we took on the daring challenge of a Charity Skydive, raising just under £6,000. Additionally, we organised our first Christmas dinner bash at the Royal Court Hotel, selling 242 tickets and raising another £4,000.
  • 2011: A personal challenge led me to climb Kilimanjaro, raising around £16,000! This year also marked the beginning of our Easter Egg Appeal. We collected over 500 eggs and delivered them to children in hospitals via a vintage bus.
  • 2012: We hosted our first summer event at The Blue Lias, raising approximately £3,000. Our Easter Egg Appeal saw around 800 eggs delivered in a stretch limo, bringing smiles to many children in need.
  • 2013-2015: We continued our tradition of fundraising with golf days, Easter Egg Appeals, and Christmas gift deliveries, supporting local children and families. Our efforts grew stronger each year as we connected with more generous donors and volunteers.
  • 2016: Despite facing challenges, we collected 1,800 eggs for our Easter appeal. In the same year, we took a new direction in our mission. After meeting Allana, a courageous young girl who received treatment in the USA, her story inspired us. We redefined our goals, focusing even more on making a real, lasting impact in children’s lives.

Moving Forward: Children’s Christmas Wish List New Mission

As Official Partners with Give Kids The World Village in Florida, we are thrilled to help send terminally ill children and their families on dream trips. These trips provide the opportunity to experience magical moments, like meeting Mickey Mouse, swimming with dolphins, and fulfilling extraordinary wishes.
